40 Days to Save America | Trump’s End Times Role | Jonah’s Lesson: Kevin Jessip | Israel Strikes Damascus: Pastor Paul Begley | McKinley’s Thanksgiving Proclamation | Day 28
By Troy Anderson's Team
Romans 12:12 (NIV):
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Dear Friends,
As we continue on this 28th day of the "40 Days to Save America" campaign, we are reminded of the importance of perseverance—both in prayer and in faith. The journey toward healing and revival in our nation requires steadfastness. When trials arise, it’s easy to grow weary or lose heart, but God calls us to be patient and to remain faithful in prayer.
This day, let us focus on persevering in our faith and continuing to pray for our nation, trusting that God hears our prayers and will move in His perfect timing.
Uncover the truth in Troy Anderson’s #1 bestseller The Trump Code (Charisma House/FrontLine). Discover the curious parallels between the prophetic 19th century novels of Ingersoll Lockwood - The Baron Trump Collection - and events surrounding President Donald Trump and the future of America.
Special Feature #1: What Does Trump Have to Do with End Times Prophecy? Troy Anderson Decodes The Trump Codeon His Glory's Take Five
Recently, I had the privilege of joining His Glory's most-watched show, Take Five, hosted by Jenness White, to discuss my latest book, the #1 bestseller The Trump Code. It’s a project that digs deep into the prophetic connections between Donald Trump’s legacy and the unfolding events that many believe are tied to the end times. During my conversation with Jenness, we explored fascinating topics that tie Trump to a much larger spiritual narrative, which I’ve come to call "the prophetic puzzle."
One of the key themes we discussed was how historical parallels, time travel theories, and the inventions of Nikola Tesla play into the bigger picture of what’s happening in America and the world today. For instance, many have drawn comparisons between the 19th-century novels of Ingersoll Lockwood and the unexpected rise of Donald Trump. In The Trump Code, I explore these uncanny connections, which seem to have eerie prophetic undertones.
You might wonder: What does Trump have to do with end times prophecy? It’s a question that has intrigued many since Trump’s 2016 election, and I believe it’s more relevant now than ever, as we approach the 2024 election. Paul McGuire and I first delved into this question in our 2018 book the #1 FaithWords/Hachette Book Group bestseller Trumpocalypse. As we discuss in the interview, Trump's presidency and the events surrounding his time in office may be connected to larger prophetic signs described in the Bible, particularly in relation to America’s future role in the world.
In the interview, we also dove into Nikola Tesla’s futuristic ideas and how his discoveries could fit into this prophetic puzzle. Tesla’s technology, particularly in relation to time and energy, has been the subject of much speculation, and The Trump Code takes a fresh look at these theories to see how they might align with both biblical prophecy and the political landscape we’re navigating today.
Throughout our conversation, I emphasized that this isn’t just about political ideologies or global agendas—this is about understanding the spiritual dimensions at work. The Bible tells us that prophecy is meant to be a guide, helping us understand the times we’re living in. In The Trump Code, I’ve tried to connect the dots between these ancient prophecies and the current events that are shaking our world, especially in relation to Trump’s leadership.
I encourage you to watch the full interview and dive deeper into these fascinating subjects with me. We cover a lot of ground—everything from Tesla’s secret technologies to time travel theories, to how Trump's policies may align with America's prophetic destiny.

This is a time of great significance, and I believe we’re witnessing events that could very well align with biblical prophecy. As always, I encourage you to stay spiritually prepared, prayerful, and alert to the times we are living in. Watch the interview, and join the conversation as we explore these important questions.
Special Feature #2: Rev. Kevin Jessip on Jonah's Journey – Death, Resurrection, and the Prophetic Sign
In this special feature, Rev. Kevin Jessip, Co-Founder of The Return, shares his insights into one of the most compelling stories in the Bible—the experience of Jonah in the belly of the fish. Discover a profound interpretation of Jonah's journey, as Jessip explores the connections between this biblical account and God's miraculous works. Through careful examination of Scripture, Kevin provides a deeper understanding of Jonah's death and resurrection, drawing parallels between Jonah’s story and the prophetic sign given by Christ.
WHAT HAPPENED TO JONAH IN THE BELLY OF THE FISH? (Jonah 2:1-10) by Kevin Jessip, Co-Founder of The Return
The traditional Christian view of this passage holds that Jonah remained alive in the belly of the fish for three days and then was spewed out by the fish because it could not digest the bitter prophet. However, a careful examination of the words and phrases used by Jonah himself in his prayer (2:2-9) suggests a different scenario.
Jonah recalled that after he was thrown off the ship, the waves of the sea passed over him, his head became entangled in seaweeds, and his soul "fainted" (v. 7) within him. In this verse, Jonah could be referring to the fact that his soul was preparing to depart from his body through death (see 2 Cor. 5:8). The Hebrew word for "fainted" is ataph, which means "to lapse or to languish into darkness."
Jonah also described going to the "bottoms of the mountains" and that the "bars" were around him "forever" (v. 6). The bottoms of the mountains would refer to the bottom of the ocean, and the "bars" symbolize the gates leading into the underworld. The book of Job also uses this word to describe a similar location: "They shall go down to the bars of the pit" (Job 17:16).
Jonah was in the sea when this occurred, and certain Scriptures reveal there are openings to the underworld beneath the waters. God speaks about death to Job and his friends in this manner:
Or who hath shut up the sea with doors? ... Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? ... Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? Or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
- Job 38:8, 16-17
While some scholars teach that these "doors" are metaphors, there are portals or entrances to both heaven (see Rev. 4:1-2) and to the underworld. Psalm 69:15 says:
Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
According to these passages, the underworld of departed souls was located beneath the waters, with gates and bars indicating the entrances to this underground world, known in Hebrew as Sheol in the Old Testament.
Jonah prayed to God as he was "fainting" with the weeds and waves covering him (v. 7). Yet, God brought up his life "from corruption" (v. 6), with "corruption" meaning "the physical decay that occurs after death." Notice in verse 1 that Jonah did not pray in the belly of the fish, as some modern translations indicate, but "out of the fish's belly." Jonah described crying to God "out of the belly of hell" (v. 2). The Hebrew word for "hell" here is Sheol, the word for the subterranean world of the departed dead.
It appears Jonah was praying before he departed his body, believing that God in His "holy temple" would hear his prayer (v. 7). This refers to the temple in heaven (see Rev. 5:8) where all the prayers of the righteous are heard. Therefore, evidence in the text indicates that Jonah literally drowned, and after his death, his soul went into the belly of the subterranean world for three days (1:17; 2:6). As Jonah cried unto the Lord, God brought his spirit back into his body.
The reason God sent the fish to swallow Jonah was to preserve his body from decay and from being consumed by other fish. Three days later, Jonah was resurrected from the dead and completed his assignment to preach at Nineveh.
The death and resurrection of Jonah over three days and nights was the "sign of the prophet Jonah" that Christ gave to the Pharisees who sought a sign from Him. Jesus told them:
An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas (Jonah): For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth
- Matthew 12:39-40
Just as Christ was three days and nights in the heart of the earth, Jonah was also three days in Sheol. This is likely why Christ used Jonah's experience as a sign. Just as Lazarus was dead for four days and Christ raised him from the dead (see John 11:1-44), Jonah was dead for three days, and the Almighty brought the prophet's spirit and soul back into a body that had been preserved in the belly of a large fish.
Special Feature #3: Prophetic Fulfillment? Israel Strikes Damascus: What Bible Prophecy Says About the Future of Syria
We’ve just witnessed another significant event unfolding in the Middle East. Israel has launched an airstrike on Damascus, the capital of Syria. This attack comes amid Israel’s ongoing operations against Hamas and Hezbollah, with reports indicating that key targets linked to Iran and militant groups were involved. This escalation reminds us of the prophetic words spoken about Damascus in the Bible, a city with a long and storied history that is foretold to face a devastating fate in the last days.
Isaiah 17:1 says,
The burden against Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.
This prophecy speaks of a time when Damascus, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, will face complete destruction. Are we seeing the beginning of this fulfillment today?
In Jeremiah 49:23-27, the Bible also mentions the fall of Damascus:
Concerning Damascus: ‘Hamath and Arpad are shamed, for they have heard bad news. They are fainthearted; there is trouble on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Damascus has grown feeble; she turns to flee, and fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor.’
What we are witnessing right now could very well be a step toward the unfolding of these ancient prophecies, as Pastor Begley and I explore in our #1 bestseller Revelation 911. With Israel conducting strikes and tensions rising, the landscape in the Middle East is shifting dramatically. As we reflect on these developments, we must stay rooted in God’s Word and vigilant in prayer. The Bible tells us to watch for these signs.
For more insights into the prophetic significance of what’s happening, I highly recommend you watch Pastor Paul Begley’s latest breaking news video here: Pastor Paul Begley's Breaking News, where he delves into the biblical prophecies surrounding Damascus and how today’s events are aligning with Scripture.
Stay informed and spiritually prepared, dear friends. We are living in momentous times, and the signs are all around us.
Let’s continue to keep Israel, Syria, and the entire region in our prayers as we watch these prophetic events unfold before our very eyes.

Join Troy Anderson’s Prayer: Call for Revival, Repentance, and Blessing
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, acknowledging our need for Your mercy, grace, and power in these times of great uncertainty. Lord, we cry out for revival across this land, and we ask for Your Spirit to sweep through our homes, our churches, and our nation. Ignite in us a renewed passion for Your Word, for truth, and for righteousness. Let this be the hour when Your people rise up in boldness, proclaiming the gospel and standing firm in Your promises.
Father, we repent on behalf of our nation. We confess that we have strayed from Your ways, allowing sin and darkness to infiltrate our land. We ask for Your forgiveness and for the blood of Jesus to cleanse our hearts and heal our nation. Turn us back to You, Lord. Open the eyes of those who have been blinded by deception, and soften the hearts of those who have turned away from You. May we return to being a people who seek Your face and follow Your commandments.
We lift up those who have been affected by disasters, both natural and man-made. Lord, we pray for comfort, provision, and protection over those who are suffering. Whether it be storms, fires, earthquakes, or spiritual battles, we ask for Your peace to surround them. Be their refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We pray that Your love and healing touch would reach those who need it most.
Lord, we also bring before You President Donald Trump, JD Vance, their families, and their teams. We ask for Your divine protection, wisdom, and favor to be upon them. Guide their steps and give them discernment as they navigate these challenging times. Surround them with godly counsel and strengthen them for the battles ahead. May they seek You in every decision, and may they be used as instruments of Your will in this nation.
Finally, Lord, we pray for America. We ask that You restore the heart of this nation to be one that honors You. We pray for unity, justice, and peace to prevail, and for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done. We ask that the forces of evil be thwarted and that Your light shines brightly in the darkness. Let Your Church be salt and light, a beacon of hope in a world that desperately needs You.
We commit all these things into Your hands, trusting in Your perfect plan and timing. Revive us, O Lord. Heal our land. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
Presidential Reflections: A Call to Prayer and Repentance
Each day, we draw inspiration from historical figures who called the nation to prayer and repentance during times of great challenge. In today's reflection, we turn to President William McKinley, who, on October 28, 1898, issued a Proclamation for Thanksgiving Day during a time of recovery and peace after the Spanish-American War. McKinley urged the American people to gather in worship, offering prayers of thanksgiving to Almighty God for the blessings of peace, prosperity, and national unity.
In his proclamation, McKinley expressed gratitude for the protection and prosperity that had followed the nation through difficult times, stating that the day should be observed with "thanksgiving and praise to Almighty God." This reminder of the importance of faith and gratitude in times of both hardship and recovery serves as a powerful reflection of the enduring role that prayer plays in the life of the nation.
As we reflect on McKinley’s call to give thanks, may we be reminded of the blessings we have received, and seek God's continued guidance in times of both peace and challenge
President William McKinley, 25th President of the United States (1897 ‐ 1901)
Daily President’s Prayer: President William McKinley’s Proclamation 426—Thanksgiving Day, October 28, 1898
Thanksgiving Proclamation
The approaching November brings to mind the custom of our ancestors, hallowed by time and rooted in our most sacred traditions, of giving thanks to Almighty God for all the blessings He has vouchsafed to us during the year.
Few years in our history have afforded such cause for thanksgiving as this. We have been blessed by abundant harvests; our trade and commerce have wonderfully increased; our public credit has been improved and strengthened; all sections of our common country have been brought together and knitted into closer bonds of national purpose and unity.
The skies have been for a time darkened by the cloud of war, but as we were compelled to take up the sword in the cause of humanity we are permitted to rejoice that the conflict has been of brief duration and the losses we have had to mourn, though grievous and important, have been so few, considering the great results accomplished, as to inspire us with gratitude and praise to the Lord of Hosts. We may laud and magnify His holy name that the cessation of hostilities came so soon as to spare both sides the countless sorrows and disasters that attend protracted war.
I do therefore invite all my fellow-citizens, as well those who may be at sea or sojourning in foreign lands as those at home, to set apart and observe Thursday, the 24th day of November, as a day of national thanksgiving, to come together in their several places of worship for a service of praise and thanks to Almighty God for all the blessings of the year, for the mildness of the seasons and the fruitfulness of the soil, for the continued prosperity of the people, for the devotion and valor of our countrymen, for the glory of our victory and the hope of a righteous peace, and to pray that the divine guidance which has brought us heretofore to safety and honor may be graciously continued in the years to come.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed.
Done at the city of Washington, this 28th day of October, A.D. 1898, and of the Independence of the United States the one hundred and twenty-third.
